Same people and same products just different business name. So all of the Brompton stuff will still be there.

Okay I won't scratch that LBS off my list, just means now that I possibly missed out on a sale. Wasn't sure also if I had the new name right as Garland St is only a block away.giwi2 wrote:The bikeforce lease expired and Nick Garland owns the busienss out right now. hence its name is Garland cycles.

I hope you meant 'working' otherwise it will be the bike shop in WA with the best service.stealthbike wrote:.... Nick, Micky, and Ash are woring towards.....
Actually I finally managed to get in there today and no Bromptons, just a whisper of some coming. They appear very aware people, some of the stock is getting a bit decrepit, like that overpriced Dahon Hon Solo single speed, other stuff is inspired and no one else in Perth will know of it let alone stock it. There is hope.

Nick had a cycle shop in Bristol UK for over 15 years
Micky came from Bike Force Freo? to manage the shop
Ash is a master of the bike servicing
All are great people and I have no ties to the company other than I ride in the weekend group rides about 60 riders come along into 6/7 groups of all different levels

What's the story on the group rides, as in what route, how long, fast, and do I need change for a cappuccino at the endpoint?

On saturday we have 7 different grades of rides, some to Freo and return, some to Shelly return and some to the hillsjust4tehhalibut wrote:Not that I was asking about the group rides or the shop's profile....

On sunday I have a group of about 6 - 10 riders and mostly we head to Freo and back though the route can change
All rides currently leave from behind Bunnings South Perth
Long weekends we sometimes head for the hills on Mondays
Come along and pick your group
Muffins and coffee are almost compulsary after each ride at the bike shop cost $6
See you there hopefully
