Cars on PSP

Postby Aushiker » Thu Sep 20, 2007 2:58 pm

G'day

From the BTAWA
This morning [Tuesday - September 18] near Maylands Station cyclists encountered cars driving towards them on the PSP and had to take evasive action so that the tinlids could find a parking spot!

Irresponsible parking on PSPs needs to be vigorously managed and followed up by Rangers, Police and /or PTA "Delta". Apparently there are no by laws to infringe for blocking or causing an obstruction across the PSP.

Perhaps with the local elections coming up on 20 OCtober this is a good time to ask your local candidates what they will do for cycling! And don't forget to report any hazards, such as these, that you encounter.
Photo available here and here.

Andrew

With summer coming, carry a few eggs. You crack them into the air vent at the base of the windscreen and a few days of hot sun later ...

I had a good bike ... so I fixed it
