The Railway trail was beautiful on my loaded touring bike. Did the kep track as well. Anyone want to do it before summer kicks in?

152 km return ... we being myself and ajh did it in about 12 hours all up, well I slowed ajh up so could be done quicker. Madrapper has a ride report here.Phil wrote:Depending on the time would be keen. Earlier in the day the better with the warmish weather coming on.

Hmm a chance to try out the pie shop.
My max ride has been 75kms. so probably Bakers Hill is a good effort. Got the Railway Reserve ride down to 2hours, so hopefully won't slow you down too much. I am easy as to Saturdays or Sundays.

How about a change of venue?
Day, Any Given Sunday or second mondays when i'm free
Do the kalamunda loop?
the new alignment of it
Start at the Calamunda camel farm
Must Haves are
1, Mtb hardtail or Dually, with offroad tyres and spares, ie not semi slicks
2, Camelbak or 3 litres of water
3, a little singletrack experience, but not necessary
4, Gloves and helmet etc
Any questions call or pm me

P.S , this ride would not be a timed ride,
we go as slow as slowest rider, posssibly me
No Group splitting fast/slow
And we pay the rent for parking at the farm,
with a coffee/ lunch break after, as respect and a thankyou

3rd or 4th, or 10/11th of December works for me (in fact any weekend morning with notice). Parkingwise not at any of the known horror spots, like the carpark at the end of Morrison Road, as it is usually full of broken glass.Baalzamon wrote:Well I'm easy to a sat/sun now. I'm back on the bike and am able to handle the distance to bakers hill and return mmmm the pies can't wait. Bring cameras as well or smart phone with camera for some great photo shots.

Really nice to see some water in the creeks, and fantastic weather.
Let me know if you would like to join in and I will arrange another ride.
