This morning rivaled Monday as another freezing one.

I didn't think it was that cold this morning.. I did have a similar level of "rugged-up-ness" as yesterday, but would have been just as comfortable without the thermal long johns I reckon

Marginally warmer this morning, but nowhere near the 6C warmer that BoM forecast last night. A little spray from wet ground on cold knees didn't help. Still, give me cold over wet any day.

After yesterday being so warm, it did seem a little colder than I expected this morning.

I don't think as cold as Monday, definitely not. :)

another beautiful perth winter's day today.

it's really quite easy to get blasé about the river loop, but this morning with the chill in the air, a bit of mist here and there, hardly any wind and a beautiful sunrise, we're so very very lucky here in Perth.

Too true roller, the more I see of the world, the happier I am to live in Perth.

It's beautiful and sunny but still cold out there, I just rode with my daughter to her dancing class and our hands and faces were freezing :)

I'm guessing many fellow SOR guys saw this earlier this morning.

This morning seemed warm. It took me by surprise. I put on my cold weather gear and was sweating it out by the time I got to work.

BoM says it was 16.0 degrees at 6:00 with a minimum of 13.7 degrees at 11pm last night. On average each July in Perth only has 3 days with minimums above 12.5 degrees so it was unusually warm.

I must say it was a very nice ride in but I should check the temp before heading out in full winter kit. :P

Yep, was a great view this morning. It's difficult knowing what to put on this week though....

yeah, I was going over the mount Henry bridge for only my second SOR commute when I saw that. Don't know why I didn't take the photo opportunity myself?

Full rainbow over tompkin park.

Boiling this morning, had to ride slower to stop overheating.

And this arvo. I rode up to King's Park and saw cyclists pulled over stripping off clothes

I didn't ride in yesterday as they forecast heavy rain all arvo, but not a drop fell. :( I doubt there will be many rode in today (without scuba gear).

I did... between cockburn and murdoch it was that heavy at times that I could only see probably 5-10m ahead.. Also discovered that my "waterproof" backpack most definitely has a limit, and today went past it haha thankfully nothing damaged, but lesson learnt.
