From week commencing Monday 28 November, minor construction works will occur along the Market Street shared cycle and pedestrian path next to the Perth Arena site.
The works are to create a new construction site entrance for the Perth City Link Rail Alliance.

From mid-December, heavy vehicles will be entering and exiting via the new entrance, adding extra traffic to the area.

Additional signage is being installed, however we encourage pedestrians and cyclists to take extra care when passing through this area.

Something is build on the PSP exit onto Market St, and given that there are signs on the freeway indicating Market St is closed this week-end, come Monday morning there may be something extra:

failed on Friday, so it remains a mystery what is being installed.

This has been dug up, the path now stops a little sooner and does not line up with the PSP on the southern side. There is a bitumen ramp on the northern side so be careful.
