Northern Suburbs to Yanchep - Marmion Avenue extension

I believe that the extension will be open by Aug 2008 (or so somebody told me) so you'll be able to ride on the Marmion Ave bike lane all the way to Yanchep National Park. (I've always avoided the death trap that is Wanneroo Rd - too many blind bends for my liking!)

I assuming there will be a bike lane - Marmion Ave currently has one so I don't see why it won't continue - can anybody confirm?

Will make a change from doing the Hilarys run.

That's great if the August this year bit is true - I had no idea that it was put through all the way to Yanchep so soon!

Will definitely add to the weekend ride options.

Can't wait for this. What a great trip that will make. We often ride up marmion to the current end (26km round trip) so the extension will make a nice addition.
