Combined with the unfortunate phasing of the traffic lights at William and Beaufort Street, and now giving way to many buses, cyclist coming in from the eastern suburbs will have plenty of opportunities to cool down before they reach work  . Might be time to look for alternate routes?

For West Perthites, Aberdeen Street then the PSP to Leederville and down Loftus Street might be more attractive.

I find Aberdeen-PSP-Loftus better already, looks like it will be even more so for the next 3 years or so, although part of the attraction is less bike traffic, so I should stop telling people about it.

Yeah it's better - less zig zag over the rickety scaffolds
