ABC Stateline item

Postby cricetidae » Sun Mar 09, 2008 3:31 pm

Friday night ABC television had a piece on cycling/commuting and the growing popularity of bikes.

It was interesting to see a relatively unbiased item instead of the vindicative hate filled vitriol that we expect from other media sources.

Unfortunately it the item or transcript have not appeared on the website yet but hopefully it will be posted over the next few days.

Definitely worth more than my eight cents a day.

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll keep an eye out for it.

In the wee small hours of this morning I heard a promotion for the Stateline program on ABC1 (TV).

If I got the story right, tonight’s program (April 16) will have a segment on the Meyer brothers. It will probably be repeated on Saturday and should be downloadable from the ABC web site in due course.

The bicycle is a curious vehicle. Its passenger is its engine.

Stateline featured the Myer brothers last night.

They're on a roll :)
