Re: Perth Swap Meet Saturday 1st AugustVenue?
And the 1st of August is a Wednesday... They could mean the 4th? Kym
All manner of half finished projects and a bit of randonneuring I used to be tech-savvy. Now I'm just tech-weary.
Re: Perth Swap Meet Saturday 1st AugustThanks for pointing that out, I will update it when I find out from the organiser (i just copied and pasted it)
I do know that it will be held in the carpark at the Southside bmx Club in Bullcreek cheers
Re: Perth Swap Meet Saturday 1st AugustCoolo. Slap the other forum's OP around a bit and I shall await the update.
I'm still way off being organised enough as a seller myself - but if that's the venue, it's still cruisy treadling distance from my place to come over for a gander. Kym

Re: Perth Swap Meet Saturday 1st SeptemberYep I'll be there, I spoke to a representative of the club and he said they've had alot of interest
I think this could be the big one!
Re: Perth Swap Meet Saturday 1st SeptemberIs this just going to be BMX stuff or general gear?

Re: Perth Swap Meet Saturday 1st September
I'm taking some "general" gear... ie. more 80/90s roadie stuff. Some loose MTB stuff from that period. Nothing too e-bay busting, just odds & bobs surplus to my needs. Kym

Re: Perth Swap Meet Saturday 1st SeptemberLast one we had was a bit of everything, we had road bike stuff, dragster stuff and bmx stuff.
Lets face it, Perth isnt big enough to have a lone swap meet for a particular style on its own!
Re: Perth Swap Meet Saturday 1st SeptemberSounds good! I'll be there with bells on.

Re: Perth Swap Meet Saturday 1st September
They're not too plentiful here in ol' Sleepy Dullsville, unfortunately. I'll keep my ear to the ground and post on BNA if I hear of anything. Quicksilver, the original poster, is a bit more across some other internet forums, group rides and such... I'm sure he'll do the same and post here. These are community events basically, so even if you see one posted and advertised somewhere that might not necessarily be your particular bicycling niche it's still a good thing to pop in and at least have a quick butchers around, buy a coffee, hot dog or whatever. Sure this one was primarily BMX as was mostly expected, but I covered the cost of my stall with mostly roadie & misc stuff. I didn't leave with more than I came with stuff wise (thanks metalrideroz for a few swaps Kym
