Munda Biddi this weekend

After my first (and highly enjoyable) foray into doing the Munda Biddi from Collie to Donnybrook the other week, I'm looking at hitting up the section from Mundaring south this weekend.

My plan at the moment is to ride Saturday from Mundaring to Wungong campsite (76.66 km), stay overnight, then ride Wungong campsite to Dandalup campsite (60.25km). From Dandalup I'll head home (est 78km)

The route home I've planned is below - http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/da ... o-mt-henry" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I haven't ridden this way before, can anyone offer comments on how likely/unlikely I am to be taken out by a caravan/holidayers/trucks? Is there a better route you can suggest?

Also, if anyone is doing the Munda this weekend, love some company at the campsites - not sure I'd subject each other to having to ride together!

Hi, if possible can you please do a ride report on the trail. I would like to take my kids on trail around dandalup.
Have a great ride.
Cheers

I haven't but I'm not too concerned about the climbs - I spent a fair while riding in France this year which has redefined for me my definition of pain :twisted:

I look forward to the single track - the single track around Wellington Dam was the best part about the entire Collie -> Donnybrook experience!

I know I'll get to the top, eventually.. I'm prepared to suffer to get there :)

Ron: I'll be glad to - assuming I remember!

its not a huge climb - i just can't imagine it will be much fun loaded up with gear! if you know your way around kala there is heaps of singletrack you could use in parts :)
