Pedestrian/cyclist section on north side is closed again.

Came scooting around the cycle path from Guildford this morning to come to a rapid halt at the bridge as three workmen were testing out how securely they have blocked off the north side of the bridge. Hopefully it's just to lay the surface on the new concrete and won't be closed for long. On a positive note they have trimmed the edges wooden beams on the south side of the bridge and it is a lot smoother to go across now. Still pretty bumpy though

Some great news. The upstream path on the bridge has been completed. A big thank you to CycleSnail and the BTAWA for all their work on getting the path over the bridge resurfaced. A thank you also to Colin Ward at Main Roads WA for his support. It is good to see persistent constructive advocacy paying off.
