Two old frames.

Postby GregW » Thu Nov 01, 2012 8:41 pm

After a major clean out I have two old frames about to go in the bulk bin.
Before i do I though it may be an idea to post them here in the off chance someone can make use of them as a restoration project.

Free to a good home.

One is an INDI 500 Ladies.
My wife used to terrorise the neighbourhood on this over 20 years ago.
The other is a unknown ten speed gents.

That indi 500 just brought back heaps of memories. I really wanted a BMX bike for my 13th birthday but got one of these instead. Parents insisted girls starting high school do not ride BMX. They were right in a way. BMX wasn't my thing. In year 11 I traded this old girl for a road/triathlon bike and haven't looked back since. Parents were disgusted, especially mum. 25 years on, she still doesn't understand my bikes (possibly me).

I hope someone can give these a home :)

Had to help someone moving house, they had an old ladies bike to get rid of and their solution was to leave it out on the verge parked under a tree, had fun watching passersby considering the pickup. It went in about an hour. Just saying.

Quite surprised.......both units now have a new home.......
My wife used to take the INDY to the farm at Williams and chuck laps of the paddocks with the kids while i was chasing bunnies :P

I do have an early 80's Gordonson.......but as yet not decided to let that go just yet.....maybe stay tuned.
