Hi All,

Ive just moved companies and buildings. I'm in the old BankWest tower on 108 St Georges Tce. I cycle to work on most days but I have now been informed that there is no space for my bike in the building bike racks. Appartantly the waiting list is years long too. What others options are out there?? Any help would be appreciated. Secure, undercover is my preference as I ride an modestly expensive bike.

Cheers

Elder St car park. $1 for 12 hours. Carry your lock(s) with you as you'll still need to lock your bike up inside.

Bring a pair of walking shoes as it's a long walk or CAT ride/walk to Bankwest tower! You'll still need to use shower/change facilities in your building.

That's silly. How much room does a bike take? If all the BW people have moved over to Raine Sq surely that has feed up space. There is a bike anchor to chain to right out from on the Terrace, lock up to that. In our building (I am next door in 100STG) we have bike parking for around 250 and excellent locker and change facilities but if you have not swiped in for a month you get a please explain, after that you lose your bike space and locker. A good plan, get's rid of those who take a place but never use them.

Agitate and get a space. Good luck.

I looked at Elders but it seemed a fair walk - not overly keen on walking through the city in Lycra morning and night. Does anyone know if the new BHP building has space to buy? I'm still working on the building management people at BW Tower. They seem a little confused about the whole bike parking situation. If worse comes to worse I'll just ask the boss if I can park my park on our level. Just hope going in the lift with the bike doesn't annoy people.

Does the building have a goods lift? One way to get around that problem.

I am in the same situation as well, can't say I'm very impressed either. If my LinkedIn skills are correct, I'm only a floor above you as well; I'm sure it won't take you long to figure it out :).

After chatting to my colleagues this afternoon I might have a solution involving our connections with the right people in building management (not the plebs on the concierge desk). I'll let you know how I go.
