In Memoriam - Geoff Gibson - Tingle All Over

It is with great sadness that I became aware yesterday that Geoff Gibson of the Tingle All Over YHA at Walpole passed away on February 1, 2008. Geoff and Kerry where great supports of the Bibbulmun Track and its walkers, providing great accommodation and friendly service.

They kept a photo album of all walkers who passed through their YHA which was just great flicking back through putting faces to names in logbooks.

Geoff will be deeply missed by all. My deepest sympathy to Kerry and family.

I was saddened to hear of his death and didn't find out till I went down to Walpole last month.

Having stayed at their hostel several times I have to say that they both made everyone feel welcome and kept us entertained with some great stories.

Will be missed be everyone in Walpole as they have both been stalwarts of the town.

My condolences to Kerry and family.
