Anyone here live freo/bicton/applecross way and need a cycling buddy?

I'm getting lonely out there cycling alone and need more motivation.

We regularly ride thru Freo etc, but start further down the path - just south of Gateways!

Okay nice! I started at point Walter on the weekend up to raffles then up the freeway headed south Perth then over the causeway down riverside drive down mts bay road then to cott and along the beach to Freo and back to point Walter. Really good ride with good nearly uninterrupted cycle paths.

Michelle I would recommend the 'Tropicana' group rides that leave from La Tropicana Cafe in Fremantle, every saturday at 6:30.
There are different groups catering for the kind of speed you're comfortable with.
They mostly go around the driver via Shelley but sometimes Group 2 will go to Jandakot.

Group 3 is around 28-30km/hr average
Group 2 is 30-34km/hr
Group 1 is 35+

My partner and I go twice a week from Coogee thru free and around the river clockwise . All up 60 kms and at about 27-29 kph average. Leave Coogee at 5am.
If you want to meet at freo then peel off later no problems.

How slow are you willing to go?

Yeah, though I never rode much in company when I did ride a bike, I've got to a stage where I regret not having anyone to ride with.
