Munda Biddi Trail Diversion – Map 3 Nanga to Collie Section

The Department of Environment and Conservation has announced that effective April 2013 (a rather delayed announcement given the diversion was in place when I rode the Waterous Trail in October 2012) a long-term diversion will be in place on the Munda Biddi Trail south of the Bidjar Ngoulin Campsite in the Lane Poole Reserve (south of Dwellingup).

More details on the diversion can be found on my blog and the map of the diversion is below.

Mmm.. that tunnel looks suspiciously like one of the old conveyor tunnels from one of the Alcoa minesite conveyors.

Since I keep misplacing my common sense down the shed, I guess I'll have to borrow someone elses off the internet.

October 2011?

That diversion was there in January 2011.

Instead of riding on King Jarrah trail, great clay riding old logging tram track, you ride up a hill, the track on the side of Nanga Road is just a blade on the back of a tractor, like riding on a mattress, then back down a steep hill.

The cyclists aren't winners on this one.
