I have ridden along this rode a couple of times coming back from a tour. It is a busy road and I've been shaved quite often here. There is a lot of traffic to and from the mines near Boddinton. I avoid this road now.

A better route is to ride N out of Pinjarra on Patterson to Old Madurah and then W to the F'Way. Other routes are to continue on up Patterson to Lakes and W to the F'Way or turn off on Corio and N on Hopelands and W on Karnup.

The cyclist involved in this incident is Michael Boswell a board member of the Bicycle Transport Alliance. Michael is in a very serious condition in hospital but is showing some small signs of improvement. The Boards thoughts are with Michael and his family and friends.

Michael has a very long road to travel on his way to full recovery. We wish him all the best.

A month on, any leads on the vehicle that hit him?

I hope for his family he's able to pull through with light at end of tunnel.

The driver of the vehicle has had discussions with the Police. I am not sure when the Court case is coming up but.

Not sure how Michael is progressing but did get an email the other day with his new email address which is a positive sign.
