Moora - Watheroo 2013 Gravel Grinders

Postby HappyHumber » Tue Sep 17, 2013 1:20 pm

Just stumbled on the link to this event whilst admiring some local bike pr0n on the Cycles Bespoke website; A quick search here on BNA didn't bring up any hits for prior posts....

Wouldn't fancy the full distance on the MTB myself and I've just started stripping down my Cross-check.... mmmm....

Since I keep misplacing my common sense down the shed, I guess I'll have to borrow someone elses off the internet.

Thanks for the heads-up. Have toured through Moora. Nice area. I think a mountain bike would be fine for 87 km.

I'm just not used to riding mine sitting too much on the saddle! I've mainly used it for single-track cross country.

You need to come touring :)

That said I would do this on the Surly Long Haul Trucker and not the mountain bike. I must admit I wouldn't mind doing the ride if I could get away ... scheming under way :)

My Masi would eat that ride up easily. But I'm not allowed to cycle until 4th Nov

And you're running a 150km Audax on the same day. Looks a bit like this.
