Palmerston St hazards

Postby nachoman » Fri Oct 23, 2015 1:17 pm

Palmerston St is currently littered with hazards, many associated with the development of the 'BottleYard' apartments at 75-99 Palmerston St.

- trucks parked in the pseudo-bike lane
- cranes parked in the real bike lane
- whole road was closed yesterday morning with a detour
- this morning an inch and a half hose across the road
- the temporary fencing for the BottleYard is right up against the pseudo bicycle lane, making line of sight for exiting vehicles difficult
- sand and debris everywhere
- pedestrians walking in the pseudo bicycle lane due to loss of footpath on that side of the road

It's easy to report to City of Vincent Ranger as a road obstruction and you can even attach photos.

That is impressive as City of Stirling won't accept photos - and I've tried.

Ever thought to take a different route when there is known construction going on?

I recently reported damaged CoS property via email with photo attached. No problems accepting that
