There is a diversion planned for a section of the shared path between the Causeway and Windan Bridge on the Burswood side of the river, starting from the 21st of November.

The diversion will be 'slightly narrower' than the existing path and will be fenced off from the rest of the construction site.

If they plan to put the detour in place by Monday then they'll have to get a wriggle on - the path isn't even sealed yet.
And while we're on the subject of the detours due to the footbridge - please take care when cycling through these as I've nearly had several head-on crashes with people cutting the corners or swinging wide. It'll only cost you a few seconds to slow down a bit and take the corner on your side of the path.

The diversion is now in place. It gets quite narrow, particularly at the small bridge, so extra care is required.

They will be temporarily diverting the current diversion near the future Swan River bridge from the 27th of June to mid-July, adding 4 new right angle turns to the path.
