Upper Swan shared path
Postby exadios » Fri Oct 17, 2008 10:15 am
The shared path running along the Gt. Northern Highway in Upper Swan has been ripped up. There is piles of dirt and bricks on the path and trenches that cut across it. The affected section is between the Upper Swan school and Cathedral Ave.

Nothing on:
Main Roads Detours/Closures
so, one needs to question why aren't the Mainroads guideline's:
Provision of path users
being followed, as this states that advance warning must be provided and safe alternative path need to be established.
Quickly read the document and if you believe that the guidelines aren't being followed, contact Main Roads to register a complaint. If they won't resolve it, write to the Minister of Planning requesting a Ministerial to why the guidelines aren't being followed.
I've being contacting MainRoads and City of Stirling for the last 7 months on the destruction of the dual-use path in Princeton Estate, Stirling (dual-use path still not available), and have got to the stage where the only option I can think of now is to write directly to the Minister.
