SOUTH WEST CYCLE CLUB
20 Year Anniversary
1988 – 2008

The committee and members of the South West Cycle Club are celebrating
20 years of cycling! Please join us on Sunday 9th November 2008 in Dardanup. Participate in a ride around the valley, share a meal
at the Dardanup Tavern and take a look back at the
club’s history in stories and pictures.

See the unveiling of the 20 year anniversary jersey, see photographs of
our past and present members in action, read newspaper articles
about their humble beginnings in an exclusive display of
the club’s history from 12pm at the Tavern.

The Tavern Bistro has light meals available between $5 - $15
The Tavern is fully licensed and strictly no BYO.

You are invited to participate in one of three rides
the club will be hosting on the day.

All rides leave from the Dardanup Hall

Participation Rides 100km 7.30am start (Ride It License required)
(see map (AT) www dot southwestcycleclub dot com dot au)
Ride Leader: Jo Moore

39km “classic lap of the valley” (Ride It License required)
10.00am start (Registration 9am (AT) Hall)
Ride Leader: Darren Strudwick

25km (Novicover available if required)
10.30am start (Registration 9.00am (AT) Hall)
Ride Leader: Andrew Lanigan

Afterwards Where: Dardanup Tavern
Time: 12.00pm

Aaah...the Dardy. There's some memories... :wink:

I used to ride from Bunbury out through Dardanup to my sister's place at Ferguson Valley. It was a great ride if you didn't mind the Giacci trucks, then you got to the piggery (right in the middle of a small rise!). Now that was a lesson in riding really hard without breathing. I can still smell it.
