Leeuwin-Naturaliste 2050 Cycling Strategy

Postby Scott_C » Wed Mar 21, 2018 7:17 pm

DoT have published a copy of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste 2050 Cycling Strategy for public comment on their webpage:
https://www.transport.wa.gov.au/mediaFi ... rategy.pdf

I haven't had a chance to read it in detail but it again seems to be making the right sort of noises about increasing safe cycling routes for recreation, commuting, touring and training (with a number of proposed rail trails included).

As always it will be the funding and implementation of the plan where there will be the biggest opportunity for disappointment but at least it looks like the proposals are moving in the right direction.
