I might swing over that way after my group ride, but that means I won't have a bike lock with me. Could I realistically walk through the swap meet wheeling my bike with me or would it be too crowded?

You can easy walk around with bike. Would be good if a few shops put a tent up with some discounted old stock etc.

The weather doesn't look too good, but if it's not pelting down I might pop in and see if there are any bargains available. I need a Rottnest bike since my old MTB died. Not too keen on getting my new squishy covered in salt water on the ferry crossing
