Tubeless tyres/wheels for touring?

Postby Wingnut » Wed Sep 23, 2009 12:03 pm

I have a spare Mavic Crossmax 26" tubeless wheelset with ceramic brake walls. Other than possible issues getting the odd spare zicral/alloy spoke at the average shop while touring has anyone used them? I thought the sealing/puncture system on the tubeless wheels might be handy as they can be fitted with tubes when required and take sealant really well too?

BTW my mtb will mainly be used on roads rather than extreme offroad touring.
