So my friend an I are driving from Melbourne up to Sydney and then Gold Coast for about a week. We're not Australians but I'm a little familiar with the East Coast as I've been to Sydney and Gold Coast and studied in Melbourne for several years.
- We can comfortably be classified as beginners in "bike touring" or whatever this is called. First time doing this so we're taking it easy.
- Our bikes are Bromptons with 16" wheels
- We have some experience with trail riding and use MTBs back home but it was just much easier to fly in with a single Brompton (as I already have access to another one in Melbourne)
- Sparrow Hill near Canberra has been confirmed
- Heard Kiama and Coffs Harbor are nice places for a relaxing scenic cycle. Which one is subjectively better?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
