Bicycle Tasmania Century Ride

The biggest State Bike Week event, the challenge of riding 100km in a day. Start this testing ride with the peleton of hundreds of other cyclists riding over the Tasman Bridge. Minimum age 14yrs.

It starts at the Hobart Cenotaph and will go over the Tasman Bridge using the roadway with a police escort. Riders will travel 2-abreast over the bridge in a single group.

The route then heads out to Cambridge and Seven Mile Beach before heading north to Tea Tree, back through Richmond, over the Bowen Bridge and back to the finish at the Cycling Festival at Cornelian Bay.

I'm in for the 100Km - bit the bullet and bought a replacement handlebar for the Cell. I'll probably wear my blue Kathmandu jersey - or white raincoat if the BOM are correct... :(
