Richmond Bakery "Wednesday" victory to Brian Bennett

Richmond Bakery "Wednesday" victory to Brian Bennett

Postby master6 » Wed Mar 24, 2010 3:55 pm

The gentlemens ride from Richmond Bakery, the race you have when you are not having a race, was "won" today by the PMM team, through cunning coaching by the team principal Nigel H, and dogged riding by servant Bennett.
The scene is set for next Wednesdays non race, with "The Others" scheming to turn the tables.

Being in the heart of a rural district, the Richmond Bakery riders occasionally come across farm vehicles. The win by Brian Bennett in the infamous Wednesday non-race on 24 March 2010 was greatly assisted by the insertion of a truck between BB and the salivating, chasing pack. The fact that a tractor blocked the oncoming lane added to the pack's frustration which, no doubt, will be rectified on the day before April Fool's Day!

Wednesday 7/4/2010

Eight gentlemen departed Richmond with six in the "Others" team intent on bringing about the downfall of the invincible PMM two man machine. Brian Bennett drew all attention while PMM team leader Nigel quitely planned his own victory. Second over the line was sufficient to give Nigel and PMM another victory as the leading rider was found to be an illegal immigrant, and as such , detained in the Richmond Prison; Kevin Rudd advised that he could no longer accommodate such people.
