Around 28-30km/hr, at the moment I don't feel like I am 100% on the bike.

I think I can do this if I can be back in Sandy Bay by 8am - does that work for you? Weather looks good, not too cold. Between 6 and 6:15am at Cenotaph (I'll be riding in from Kingston)?

Sorry I wasn't able to make the ride this morning -- it's probably a bit too far to ride from Kingston to Glenorchy for a 6:20am meetup -- have to get up that little bit too early. Are you going on the DOME ride tomorrow? May be able to make the Ken Self ride, not sure yet. Busy life...

Good to meet you this morning albeit briefly! I would have gone out again but my back was hurting. Not sure what I have done to it now. Every bump made it hurt a bit more.

Yep, nice to be able to put a nickname to a helmet :) There's a chance I'd recognise you again but given it was still kinda dark ... Had a cruisy ride in from Kingston nice and early to make it to Dome for 6am ride. 57km and in to work on time is not too bad! Look after your back - it's the only one you've got!

Thursday was a good day. Dome in the morning and Ken Self in the evening, plus commute. 122km all up, pretty happy with that for the day. Only problem was very hungry on the commute home!

Ah then Ive met my first forumite! I was talking to you about your lights coming back towards town. Nice to meet you Mark, that was a big day! and you rode very well[says the noobie]

I guess parts of it were a bit slow for ya, which is a fair call because we do keep it pretty steady to keep it comfortable for everyone. The quicker guys do the Mon/thurs more for the social side of it I think.
Anyway, see you out there!

cheers
Daniel.

Hey Baldy/Daniel :) Good to meet you too! Wonder if I'd recognise you in daylight? I do enjoy social rides -- faster rides aren't terribly social, hard to talk when breathless! But I am looking around for a bit of a challenge as well -- any ideas (early morning is best)? Although you should have seen me on the way home from that ride -- I was quite pathetic. I was starving hungry having not eaten since 12pm and had zero energy for the Bonnet!

mcdurin although you live South, Monday mornings I go out with Mick from The Bike Shop and we can push the pace around 30km/h+. The zero or just over temps can be a challenge themselves! :)
