Rob, dont forget the vets and mates Richmond ride every Wednesday 9am if you find you have time on your hands.

Re: The Tasmanian Find a Ride Thread
I think I can do this if I can be back in Sandy Bay by 8am - does that work for you? Weather looks good, not too cold. Between 6 and 6:15am at Cenotaph (I'll be riding in from Kingston)? Still young enough to win the Tour de France
Re: The Tasmanian Find a Ride ThreadWhats your mobile number? Mine is 0415 717 836. I leave from Norchy so we could meet along near Glenorchy roundabout at 620? Send me a SMS if your riding.

Re: The Tasmanian Find a Ride ThreadSorry I wasn't able to make the ride this morning -- it's probably a bit too far to ride from Kingston to Glenorchy for a 6:20am meetup -- have to get up that little bit too early. Are you going on the DOME ride tomorrow? May be able to make the Ken Self ride, not sure yet. Busy life...

Re: The Tasmanian Find a Ride ThreadGood to meet you this morning albeit briefly! I would have gone out again but my back was hurting. Not sure what I have done to it now. Every bump made it hurt a bit more.

Re: The Tasmanian Find a Ride ThreadThursday was a good day. Dome in the morning and Ken Self in the evening, plus commute. 122km all up, pretty happy with that for the day. Only problem was very hungry on the commute home!

Re: The Tasmanian Find a Ride ThreadAh then Ive met my first forumite! I was talking to you about your lights coming back towards town. Nice to meet you Mark, that was a big day! and you rode very well[says the noobie]
I guess parts of it were a bit slow for ya, which is a fair call because we do keep it pretty steady to keep it comfortable for everyone. The quicker guys do the Mon/thurs more for the social side of it I think. Anyway, see you out there! cheers Daniel.

Re: The Tasmanian Find a Ride Threadmcdurin although you live South, Monday mornings I go out with Mick from The Bike Shop and we can push the pace around 30km/h+. The zero or just over temps can be a challenge themselves!
