Is this heaven?88km Saturday, 83 yesterday, out of bed at 8.45am this morning to find a clear blue sky and magnificent sunshine. Southern Tasmania , if you have not guessed.
Re: Is this heaven?
Yesthat does sound like heaven. Same up here in South Qld. Have just rolled into home after an 85k loop up to Narangbah, out to Mt Mee then home via Winn Rd. Blue sky, great company (Duttons Club) fantastic view from the top of Mt Mee. ANd did 78k on Saturday including Mt O'Reilly Rd with great company also.

1948 -1979 I was a Victorian 1979- 2007 Queenslander 2007- Tasmanian/Queenslander Like most mainlanders, I knew stuff all about Tasmania until my first visit in 2005. Lets keep it that way; why share a good thing? Better weather than Victoria or Qld (er, I will be in Qld July, Aug, Sept,) Fantastic Scenery, Little traffic, Friendly polite people, Riding mates who never whinge about hills, they have them for breakfast, Great Cycling Club (bring your bike to Southern Tasmanian Veterans Cycling Club when you visit Hobart) The only bad news:- Migration now prohibited to maintain heaven as it is.....Perfect
Re: Is this heaven?in tassie, men are men and ride the hills, even the mad ones ride the mountain in the snow
we love the hills when do we stop for coffee???

On Sunday I did the STVCC training ride, coincidentally over the same course. *the other group took a shorter ride to Sandy Bay; something about two spots of rain?
