Nice Morning Out

Went out for the usual ride this morning. Not as brisk as past 4deg mornings. I think it was 6! Went out with The Bike Shop, 41ks, no traffick and fairly light. There was a lot of riders on the bike track this morning, all looking a bit cold . I tried out a new pair of BBB gloves, windproof and water proof, they kept my hands very warm! New BBB shoe covers as well, and my feet were warm. This was a first being completely warm and toasty!

Good to be back on the bike, back felt ok this morning, still sore but okay. Not sure about the STVCC time trial next Sunday though.

I also went out before work this morning, was a lovely morning - not too cold! I did end up being very slow... Felt no desire to challenge my climbing times. Kingston - Bonnet - Strickland - Neika - Leslie Vale - Kingston. The long way to the coffee shop. http://www.strava.com/rides/108864

I finished in Kingston - so Chill in Channel Court shopping centre. Actually wasn't too cold in Neika, road was a bit slippery but quite comfortable. Will try to make it to DOME but do have to be back in Kingston by 8:00am or just after so we'll see how I go.
