40ks and a GU

Nice morning for a ride, wasnt to cold either met Mark and went out to Cadburys and back into town. Good to meet you and you certainly pushed the pace.

On the way back to the car I punctured, no spares, no patches, but I had a GU. So I stopped, ripped open the GU and spread over the gash multiple times until it had all but stopped leaking. I managed to ride the last 4ks with it, very light on the handlbars and only at 20km/h but GU did the job for a short fix. Straight to The Bike Shop new tube, rim tape and tyre. They looked after me! So If you get stuck when your out, use GU for a short term fix!

Nice to meet you too - I enjoyed the ride Sucks to get a puncture. Which tyre did you puncture? Was it the Serfas ? Gotta say, I wonder what GU do to your insides -- do they block up your insides as well as they work on punctures?
