I met a couple of Canadians heading north up the Tasman Highway near Fingerpost Rd, and stopped for a brief chat. They each had 4 panier bags, low gears that made my head spin, and plans to get to Triabunna today, and onto the boat to Maria Island. I had to be honest and tell them about Black Charlies Opening, and Bust me Gall. I love touring (with my wife following in the car with half a tonne of gear).
They were very happy with our part sunny/part minscule drizzle day; after all, the alternative for them was minus 30C back home!
