Well done to those that braved the elements, definitely not a nice day for riding to the pinnacle on a roadie. Last time I did it, it was snowing. I was also on a mountain bike.

Yeah another wussy here. After 6hrs in the rain on that Oppy gran fondo I have this thing about starting a ride in the rain[on the roadie and MTB at least]. I thought I could do it but just ended up donating $30 to the event

I got cramp in my right leg going up through Neika and think i left way to much in the tank, i left the line with scott bowden (that kid was on fire) who took of out of the saddle never to be seen again. Cant believe how many didnt turn up on the day, way soft, the rain wasn't that bad really once you started, way to many fair weather cyclist kicking around i think
