East Coast Canter training rideIt's getting a bit late to post this - but - the annual February long weekend ride (11-13 Feb) is only a few weeks away if anyone is interested in joining in. Basic details are on the Vets site at http://www.stvcc.asn.au 100kms on Saturday - Orford to Bicheno. 220kms on Sunday - Bicheno, Lake Leake, Campbell Town, Fingal, Bicheno . 100kms on Monday - Bicheno to Orford. You organise accommodation in Bicheno. You organise food. You organise everything else. There is a trailer to carry all your bits and pieces at minimal cost. There are 24 signed up so far with a range of average speeds so plenty to ride with.

Re: East Coast Canter training ride
Invite your family up to Bicheno to meet us...the experience is bound to uplift their opinion of you.
Re: East Coast Canter training ride
And I am signed up. Planning to ride up to Triabunna on Friday morning (from Carlton), staying at Triabunna caravan park Friday night, then rolling back to Orford on Saturday morning for the 11am group start. If anyone is interested in riding with me, we could meet in Sorell, or at the Fingerpost Rd/Tasman Hwy intersection. We stayed at the Triabunna caravan park on Dales' Big Loop a couple of years ago. It was clean and tidy, with van sites, tent sites, and cabins. Call them on 62573575 to book.

Re: East Coast Canter training ride
Says the person who didn't turn up to: -Bothwell ride last sat -Orford 2 coffee ride -Seven hills dash -Last race of 2012 for the vets. Should I be quiet now? he-he Don't worry Barry didn't make the last two on that list either. Last edited by skull on Mon Jan 16, 2012 7:00 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: East Coast Canter training rideI think Barry is making his road racing debut with the STCC this year. Well that is the word on the street.
As to which race will he appear at is anyone's guess. I am guessing he may go for a TT focus, but I think he would go alright in something like the Hell of the South.
Re: East Coast Canter training ridewhen is that, I could be tempted. Is that on around the same time as the three peaks?
