Ah, the block at 237 Lewisham Scenic Drive. I wish. It's still for sale, but still too expensive.Paul B wrote:Has Ron K bought that block yet ?

I met Dave, a Carlton cyclist, on my ride today. Obtained his phone number so that I can let him know when our leader, PaulB has firmed up the details.
No pressure on you Paul , you are the man at CDFRBTR
(Carlton Dodges Ferry Richmond Bakery Thursday Ride )

A proposal has been made for a 10am Thursday start And how about we abbreviate the official name to "Dodges Ferry Bakery Thursday Ride" (DFBTR)
Regardless of other participants, I will be ready to go. Hopefully Jeff, David and maybe even Terry will join in.
Apparently the David you met was not the David of the DFBTR... another potential member !!!
Text just in from David... all good for a Thursday 10am start, meeting at the DFB.

Sounds good. I contacted Dave today. He still works, but might be able to make it. He is not all that keen about the road to Primrose, I suppose because of the nasty little hills on CR Rd. Perhaps we should stick to flattish courses while we get to know everyone. That of course is up to you paul, as we have no time to democratically crap on every week about the course; the Richmond system of having a dictator works well, and you have been appointed. The other feature of the Richmond ride that works well is the starting time. Absolutely totally depart on time . Wait for nobody. It works well, and people come to expect it.
Thursday 10 am; GO!
