I just noted that on Made In China. com there is a 2012 Santini jersey and knicks set for sale, and that the jersey has the "Pure Tasmania" logo. MadeInChina.com
Just wondered what the connection was between Santini and Tasmanian sponsorship.

Santini is a partner in the Tasmanian Institute of Sport cycling program. From the TIS web site. It's not unusual to see the TIS strip turn up from time to time in seemingly most unlikely places.
And on the Santini web site.Pure Tasmania and Deloitte-TIS Cycling Team:
A partnership has been formed until 2013 with Pure Tasmania and Deloitte to provide a team structure for scholarship athletes to participate in National Road Series events (NRS) and other International events for both men and women.

Thanks for that info
If I end up moving to Tassie as wished for by both my daughter and better half I may just have to invest in a Santini jersey.

Gooday Greyhoundtom and RonK. If you do make the trip to Tassie, make sure you do the Richmond Bakery Wednesday Ride at 9.00.00am every Wednesday. See RBWR thread in this Tasmania section. I am in Brisbane for a couple of months sunshine , but could be looking for a shed tenant to offset the c council/engineer/council again/ building surveyor fees involved in the shed construction.

Hehe - sunshine in Brisbane? You must be joking we haven't had much of that recently.master6 wrote:Gooday Greyhoundtom and RonK. I've had the pleasure of visiting the Richmond Bakery on quite a few occasions, and do keep an eye on the hijinks on the RBWR thread. I'll be in Tassie next month for a short visit and will probably call in - without bikes this time sadly.
