I am soon to be getting my new bicycle and I am planning on stripping the colour and getting it re-powder coated. In order to do this, I will need to strip all the parts off the bike. I can do most of this with tools I have at home, however I lack some tools (and knowledge) to properly remove things such as the BB and headset. I have gone to some of my LBS and got quotes, and that is a good option. But, I would love to be part of it and learn how to do it myself!
So, I am asking if anyone with the capabilities is willing to donate some time to help me strip my bike? The bike is a Surly Long Haul Trucker and I am located in the Launceston area!
