Chaintool in Devonport

Hello Tassie riders!
I've just completed a 4-week cycling tour of your wonderful island - well almost - just before Cradle mountain my derailleur snapped in 2 pieces.. So on Saturday (tomorrow) I'm taking the bus from Cradle mountain to Devonport, only problem is that by the time I get to Devonport (2pm) the 2 bike shops will both be closed. So I'm wondering if there are any local cyclist with a chaintool/chain breaker that I could borrow?
That way I'd be able to at least shorten my chain and ride the bike single speed until I can get it properly fixed next week. TIA, Felix

Phone the bike shops to see if they have the parts you require for a complete repair? Let them know your ontour and offer to buy the parts and hire the gear for the repair if they can arrange to have the things available for sat afternoon.

Warmshowers? Might have accommodation and some repair facilities.
