...Or was I the only one who actually watched that movie? Here's the preview for those who missed it.

I gave it one and a half stars, and only because it had bikes in it and a few fun action scenes. The plot was seriously bad. David?

I kind of want to watch that film but the trailer makes me cringe every time, it's soo lame!

I actually rather enjoyed the movie as a not-too-serious action flick.

Was a bad movie. The action was fine, but the story was crap and too simple.

Serviced the hubs, replaced a broken spoke, new tyres and it's quite a nice bike in my size. Bottom bracket and headset feel very rough, but will have to do until I get home. I'm glad that went to a good home. I was keeping a watch on it because it was local and I wanted to make sure it was saved from the tip. It was too big for me so once I saw someone was interested I left it alone.

Are you in the area for long?

What a steal for $20! Nice colour.

I'm going to see this guy (with the shudder-inducing 105 bits) on monday, I'm buying a photo enlarger off of him. I just noticed that he's selling a large Ricardo Elite, different colour but otherwise identical to my old Elite. I might have to watch myself.

I leave on Sunday and was hoping to go for another ride somewhere Saturday while everyone is watching the football. Was wondering who else on the forum was from this area, but didn't know whether to post in the NSW or Vic section.

Pretty good shape. Rare for a seller to overstate poor condition. HiTen frame only? :|
Well, no, it's not a pushbike, otherwise I'd be pushing it...

Looks like a Tange 900 sticker. Not a bad buy for $40, but no need for another bike.

Damn, must be something about that model that appealed to lazy Dentists or somesuch, Nicobec picked up an identical one in showroom condition a few years back. I'd definitely been tempted if it was in WA. I know I'm a Repco fanboy, but how is this even still listed?

The rear derailleur on that bike is very advanced for 1927. Should we report this find to Disraeli Gears & tell Frank Berto of a possible update for the 5th edition of his Dancing Chain, or would those actions be a bit rash? Maybe just transpose the 7 and the 2. Even 72 is a bit early for a womens' bike with aluminium rims.

But the wheel has fallen off!

That sort of thing can be very expensive to fix. Obviously going to impact the value of the bike

Met a guy today with a Madison 26" BMX rusting away in the back yard. The condition wasn't too bad for sitting outside. Told him someone would be probably be interested in it and he shouldn't take it to the tip. Located in brisbane if anyone is interested I can pass on the number.

I spent a good 15 minutes researching the history of Raleigh to see if I could catch you out on 'the step through frame design' or something, but no, no sweaty knicks will be eaten today.

$150 Giant Peleton with aero CF fork and seatpost.
http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/newtown/ ... 1028643288" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Now this is an interesting lot. Looks to be Giant Cadex with some custom paint job running STI 105SC. Vitus of soem sort, maybe a Dural 979, with what looks to be a 6400 groupset. And an interesting white aluminium? frame too, with possibly a Mavic headset and some sort of aero alloy seatpost. Anyone wanna split this up? Ive got dibs on the Vitus, another member has dibs on the Cadex with the Gipiemme wheels. Anyone interested in the white bike with the blue Deep Vs?
