22 of the 30 bids were made by the buyer. Didn't do himself any favours with a bidding strategy like that.rangersac wrote:A very nice Shogun Alpine GT Tourer

A nice bike, but as you say he did himself any favours with the final price. The numpty really needs to use an auction sniper program in the future.wqlava1 wrote:22 of the 30 bids were made by the buyer. The tandem seems to pre-date 853 tubing by at least a decade.
I'm sure I've seen it for sale before, but couldn't find it.
Cheers,

. I like the drilled stem for the centre pull brake cable. Should be a bit more responsive then the flexible headset mounted ones.grantw wrote:Here's a nice looking Holdsworth the seller also has a Raleigh competition for sale.

He has a few small pics up now of one bike. I spoke to him earlier today. Nice fellow and these are the bikes he raced on in the 70s. I have made an offer, but will wait and see. They are a bit too small for me at 23.5" Ctt seat tube.QuangVuong wrote:Sounds like he's got a lot of Aussie classics for sale. Too bad there arent any pics.
