Peter Bundy Road bike in Cairns, nice Rolls saddle and Campy Daytona.
Nichols Road Bike in NSW, I've never heard of Nichols but the Superbe Pro cranks lend it some weight. Mixed bag of parts otherwise.
$50 Nishiki Cresta in WA, total bargain.

And I'm slightly reluctant to post this, but there's a gorgeous BIG Mercian frame for sale at a great price, considering the $300 worth of goodies included.

I think that's a Repco in SA.

If drivers and riders spent more time worrying about their responsibilities than their rights then roads would be far safer.

Man if that was a 61cm I would seriously be all over that. Other than the size it ticks a lot of boxes for me.

I'm pretty sure they are shimano 600 pedals in the photo next to the "Nichols" bike. In good condition they'd get $40 or 50 by themselves.

Huuuge stem on it as well, looks 140-ish to me.

I saw that Nichols on the first day that it was on Gumtree, but I dont know if I linked that one here. I need a few more sets of those pedals, but they are getting a bit hard and expensive to find.

This is another bike I spotted a couple months ago. Pretty sure it was $150. Now $400 for the frame and fork only. And it even looks to be reused pics too.

"Lot of mountain bike frames", the Reid is actually a road frame, and at $30 i'd be happy to get rid of the other junk to get the Reid.

From the same seller, a bunch of "racer frames". Mostly junk but there's a Hillman which could be interesting, are those Mafac brake levers?

And to raise the tone a bit, a very nice 531 Gitane. Cool dropouts.

EDIT: another one from the "bulk lots" guy, 2 of these things are not like the others. Could be very interesting.

1x10 on kids BSOs now

Watching the local gumtree can be fun. There is a local seller who sells quite a few bikes, all sorts of usually MTBs. How do you tell if they are a flipper or worth reporting to the police? This person usually has three or four listed at once and the turnover seems quite high.

Isn't it obvious? If he had said a random, but round number like 1000 or 2000 you would know it was a 'guess'. As he has picked a quite specific number he obviously knows the truth. Ba even better if he had said $1399 because everyone knows all bicycles prices end in $99.
