You missed the subtext "owned by a bike mechanic ... but I stole it from him, along with some other wheels he had laying around"bychosis wrote:what the... owned by bike mechanic who does not know much apparently.

Expensive pub bike?TedDancin wrote:For anyone in Sydney who's been to the workshop at the bottom of Clarence St Cyclery, the Geoff Scott Fosters bike that's been hanging there for a while is up for sale. Pretty pricey though.

Either that or there was a towel over the rear triangle while the rest sat in the sun for >10 years.servicimo wrote:Gold plated rear end!Another strange bird up at Cessnock

Always a good sign that the frame is not mudguard friendly and there looks to be a few useful bits on it as well. Worth $20 if you live near by.

Was thinking that too, but not sure how I would explain "just off to Cessnock to pick up some bike bits", and its too far to detour on the way home and blame traffic or a late meeting (again)morini wrote:Odd eh.

If you want to be in keeping with the bike, I would irreverently suggest Dr Jurd's jungle juicemorini wrote:I know.

Love it. Perfect size for me. Hard to find 23 1/2" bikes around here. I'm going ask if he can ship to Aus.
