Am I the only person here sick of seeing this Shogun on ebay all the time? For the last 4-5 months advertised for the same price...

One day he will realise it's only worth $2-300. A lot more if he took the time to strip it and part it out.

Not a snowball's chance in hell of being worth $300 though  .
there's plenty of decent de carlo's running around.

He also had a maths issue in school. Had trouble working out where the decimal point went.

4-5 months? I think that this one has been up for nearly 2 years. I can remember it being $800.

It's got breaks, they're quite expensive.

I remember I emailed the guy offering some "advice" and told him I bought the same model for $250 but he replied with "probably not in the same condition" but I know mine has alot less corrosion around the spokes, rust on most of the fasteners and is able to be ridden whereas if you bought his, still after forking out $1200, still needs a pair of tyres and a good once over. At the very least clean it up and some new tyres!

Also that Repco Victory Tri A with the rewelded frame on eBay as well...better end rant.

Already messaged and has replied; someone is "coming around to buy". Oh well.

I have an old "Carerra" MTB triple triangle frame with the U brake behind the BB waiting for a re-assemble anyway.

< Page 174/175, already concluded that that thing is a goner. Finding 24" forks with a long enough 1" steerer, plus a wheel and tyre would be near impossible. :? Plenty of nicer funny bikes sitting in garages anyway.

Interesting. Looking at the guys other items, you have to laugh at the type of seller who seems almost to self-righteously state how much they originally paid for an item as if it should have some bearing on 1) the current market value and 2) how much anyone now should be willing to pay. It's a bit condescending.

Hope this isn't stepping on any toes, but wondering why this hasn't been snapped up yet? Tidy 57cm Daccordi, Columbus SLX, chromed fork and rear stays, mix of shimano/suntour stuff, and two sets of Mavic/600 wheels.

Not mine, and too small for me. Price has been dropping over the last month or so, now at $450 which seems pretty reasonable. Is it the Italian/Japanese thing turning people off?

An italian frame with japanese groupset....thats a perfect marriage in my eyes.
If that was closer to me, it would be in my shed now. Offer him $400. I like it..
