Personally, I check the Gumtree Melbourne listings once a couple of hours. I once went after a pair of essentially new Randonneur tyres for 20 bucks, I contacted the seller within 10 minutes of the post, and it was gone. Moral of the story, good deals go fast.....vanbree wrote:Torpado racing bike is sold!

Very tastefully done, but christ almight really? I took a glance at the price, then started rolling through the pictures, and decided that yes it was nice, but not worth 3 and a half grand. Closed the pictures and took another look at the price!

There are 2 forum members nearby there. However, Ill let them choose if theyd like to help you out.rangersac wrote:Nice looking Apollo III in Sydney. Anyway, a couple things
Interesting frame with what looks like to be Suntour GPX

Bent forks. Don't bother. Much nicer bicycles popping up in Tassie all the time anyway.QuangVuong wrote:There are 2 forum members nearby there. Damn, it's the wrong size. Otherwise...Rob74 wrote:For those with Coin
Eep. I know the seller. Never thought he'd part with that one. Although, there's a whole lot more Brit-porn (and other very tasty pieces) in his stable, so I guess he'll cope with the loss.
Fakeedit: Eeep again. He's selling the Moots as well!

Ahh damn, just saw the funk wheelsize. 26 x 1/4. Possibly a good candidate for a 650B conversion anyway.

It is probably a typo - it looks like a 27 1 1/4 to me.LugNut wrote: Ahh damn, just saw the funk wheelsize. 26 x 1/4. Possibly a good candidate for a 650B conversion anyway.
but really, that's rubbish. We get none of it because the choices are illusory.

+1 on that. Peugeots are French and that looks very 70's/80's. I doubt they would be using a British wheel size that died out in the 50's, (But... they are French... )drubie wrote:It is probably a typo - it looks like a 27 1 1/4 to me.LugNut wrote: Ahh damn, just saw the funk wheelsize. 26 x 1/4.
