I know the person who won this! It's gone to a good home and it will be looked after, if that's any consolationamrjon wrote:I was keen on this Hillman frame, unfortunately someone else was slightly keener.
I like how seat stays are parallel with the down tube, seat tube parallel with the forks.
Maybe net time.
They got that for a song. Headset and seat post are worth more than the final bid.amrjon wrote:I was keen on this Hillman frame, unfortunately someone else was slightly keener.

Well yes I guess so. Still wish I'd grabbed it for that money, but fair enough, that's the open market, I could always have bid more.Dow Jones Index wrote:I know the person who won this! Yea that sounds about right .Wal42 wrote:ldrcycles wrote:

It is when you're selling it, it isn't when your buying it & it seems that it is whenever you're trying to source parts to fix it.
But then that applies to nearly everything.
Nice Euro front-left brake setup. Even at double that it'd be a nice buy. Quick paint or PC and clean up the parts, blingy L'Eroica ride.frailer5 wrote:Attention Retro-giants in Sydney. Priced OK if it doesn't move.
You could be in luck amrjon, turns out she won two frames and this has become surplus. PM me if you're keen, I'm sure she'd sell it to you for the price she paid.amrjon wrote:Well yes I guess so.
