It is when you're selling it, it isn't when your buying it & it seems that it is whenever you're trying to source parts to fix it.

But then that applies to nearly everything.

I was keen on this Hillman frame, unfortunately someone else was slightly keener.
I like how seat stays are parallel with the down tube, seat tube parallel with the forks.
Maybe net time.

I know the person who won this! It's gone to a good home and it will be looked after, if that's any consolation :D

They got that for a song. Headset and seat post are worth more than the final bid.

the advert is clear: 'only frame and forks. no headset or bb bracket.'

Well yes I guess so. Still wish I'd grabbed it for that money, but fair enough, that's the open market, I could always have bid more.

Attention Retro-giants in Sydney. Something noice, unusual, different. 'Bernard Hinault' Simplex RD, no less. Now that would test the rusty DT shifting skills.. :P
Priced OK if it doesn't move.

Nice Euro front-left brake setup. Even at double that it'd be a nice buy. Quick paint or PC and clean up the parts, blingy L'Eroica ride.

You could be in luck amrjon, turns out she won two frames and this has become surplus. PM me if you're keen, I'm sure she'd sell it to you for the price she paid.

That Apollo is quite interesting. I remember seeing a V in my local WOW dealer (Hadley cycles in Adamstown) when I was in my teens. It was gorgeous.
