It needs to be advertised as a custom rather than any numbered apollo.
Im still yet to see a correct photo of an apollo V the full aero model..

This is not always strictly true. I have two Paino bicycles that don't have the frame number stamped there, only on the steerer.
These are definitely Paino frames, unless someone has gone to the trouble of panto graphing the stay tops as well as faking the decals (not the same as Greg's), the paint and the patina and then selling them cheaply to me
From the stories I have heard Frank Paino was probably not the most meticulous chap with stuff that did not pertain to actually building the frames, where he was punctilious. Certainly his paint jobs varied in quality quite a lot.

Seems like the seller got a case of the sweats and decided to pull it - reason being:

"it was only ever going to get up to 1K and for that and due to that decided to hold on to it..."

Have had good experience with eGo depot to Depot is very reasonable. Only catch is willingness to pack, and take to closest Depot, at their end.
Got a bike from Bundy recently for an absolute song, freight-wise. But the sellers have to be 'nice people' to make it work. They were.

I'd think 2 bike boxes, got from an LBS, taped together, would do it. It's a crap shoot as to whether they'd be willing/able though.

I bought my first road bike from him. He had a garage and a hired storage shed full of bikes and frames, most of them were lightly used bikes he imported from Japan, or so he claimed.

Was it good value? In hindsight I probably paid too much but I knew nothing about road bikes and he spent a couple of hours with me pulling out every bike he had in my price range and letting me ride them as long as I wanted. For a first time buyer the time and advice he gave me was worth the price premium I paid.

At the time I lived 10km from him so the offer of free lifetime servicing was also inviting. I moved interstate before I had the chance to try it out

And the bike I purchased has given me over 10000km of trouble free use so far

See what you reckon. I didn't think it was that great. Big steel rod attached and the stem is back to front. On the plus side it came with a bag.
