Typical mid-80's bike boom ride, but probably not worth the start or BIN price.

Very clean though. Not worth that much, but still not too bad looking IMO. Maybe at half the price or a little less.familyguy wrote:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261161350976 ... 500wt_1035

But more seriously, this Raleigh is calling to me like the Sirens on the Lorelei Rocks. And it's in Sydney. Can anyone opine whether they can see a possible stress misalignment on the TT, up the head-tube end? [Pic 7]. I imagine one or two others here may be interested as well. I thought these were d/butted 531, but don't see the familiar stickers.

A sneaking suspicion confirmed. Thanks munga. Sirens calls fading... A different beast to pentlandexile's; after looking again.munga wrote:the europa was a gaspipe 'homage' to the team ti bikes.
Did you ever hear anything on your stolen Raleigh?

grand prix, europa.
top shelf, and
bottom shelf.
having said that, there's nothing wrong with a europa. it's still a cool looking bike.

Just can't bring myself to bid on something with badly bent forks, non-original paint and only some of the original parts. 1949 though...

You're probably right about the weight. It might even be closer to 12kg.sunho wrote:That Eurosport probably weighs 11kg and he says he can lift it with one finger !
But what kind of man can't lift 12kg with one finger?
