I think the guy who asks the first question is a bit of a peanut. Most of his questioning would be answered by the photos anyway. I think he's just throwing around some bike terms he read on the 'net to sound good.

The first question certainly flushed him out though. The seller I mean. He might be open to an offer?

Actually, my comment was about the person asking the question - but I guess it kind of rings true both ways.

I actually wrote a question asking If he'd sell the frame and fork separately, then didn't send it, lest the treebay constabulary found out...

Text to seller:
Hi Bob, would you be interested in selling just the frame and fork of your Daccordi? Can't hurt to ask. Kind regards, Dan

Response:
Yes, $1000.

My reply:
So, no then. That's more than your listed price for the entire bicycle! Thanks for your reply, have a great day!

Don't know why he would respray in the non original colours, but still 531 as stipulated, it would not make a great fixie, rather, a roadie :)
campagnolo shifters are a plus, shimano 105 calipers for an additional 20...
wouldnt hurt to ask for BIN price i suppose. small st but long top tube.

Dan, You're just going to have to bide your time. I doubt he'll sell it at that price so wait until he's tried to sell it three or four times then ask again. It'll be on Gumtree next I reckon. Keep your eyes peeled.

I think you're right there. Once it comes down it'll be the quick and the dead, though...

Repco Eurosport Tri-A with a horrendous re-spray, seriously devalued that one, poor thing.

Another 531 Gazelle, this time a roadie with a more realistic start price, who's keen?

Tri-colour gruppo, wih a nice set of wheels have to be near worth buying for the running gear alone.

Get on you Perth guys.
